Basseterre, St Kitts – The St Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee/Commonwealth Games Association will participate in the 5th Commonwealth Youth Games to be held in Samoa over the period September 5th to 11th 2015.
The Federation’s team is comprised of the six athletes and officials and will participate in the sport of Athletics/Track and Field only. They are:

Mr Aljani Bridgewater – 400m Hurdles
Ms Kieshonna Brookes – 100m Hurdles
For the Games, Track and Field athletes must be between the ages of 16 and 17 years: that is born in 1998 and 1999. They would have also been required to meet the qualifying standard for participation established by the St Kitts and Nevis Amateur Athletic Association and endorsed by the St Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee/Commonwealth Games Association.
This will be the third time that St. Kitts and Nevis has participated in the Commonwealth Youth Games having attended in 2008 in Pune, India and in 2011 in Isles of Man.
