The 6th Commonwealth Youth Games Qualification Standards recommended by the St Kitts and Nevis Amateur Athletic Association (SKNAAA) and ratified by the St Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee/Commonwealth Games Association at its Thursday 25th May, 2017 Executive Meeting. With the exception of the 4x100m and 4x400m Relays, these standards are identical to that of the International Federation of Athletics Federations (IAAF) 2017 World Under 18 Championships that will be held in Kenya in July of this year.
Athletes vying for selection to form part of the 2017 CYG Athletics Team are expected to first meet these performance standards and selection criteria in order to be considered for selection first by the SKNAAA and final ratification by the SKNOC/SKNCGA.
